We had the pleasure of hosting the great Strule-Erne Day Care Centre for ‘Crafts & Tea on Thursday 20th June’. We started with soap felting followed by the Learners’ Cafe experience in our new Craft room, attached to the weavery/bakery.
Northern Neighbourhood Voices Group Meeting, at Clanabogan 11th June 2019

We had the pleasure of hosting the very first Northern Voices Group Meeting at Clanabogan on 11th June. We were joined by Mourne Grange, Glancraig and Holywood Camphills, a total of 33 took part in the meeting.
We started with a song and a sharing circle, listening to each other, giving feedback on what has been happening in other Communities. We had a group activity which was Eurythmy with Brigitte and followed by a pizza lunch together.
We had our annual Open Day on Saturday 1st June. Thankfully, the weather was on our side and the sun came out after a wet week of rain! We welcomed over 900 people to the Community and fundraised £4085 which will be used for further workshop developments for our residents and Day Opportunities.
A special word of thanks to the Stevens family for setting up and managing the Bric a Brac, also to our Open Day Committee member’s that worked hard to bring this event about and to the friends and family members that helped out on the day.

On Tuesday 5th March 2019, our young volunteer co-workers organised a fun-filled afternoon for Carnival and pancake Tuesday celebrations. It started with a treasure hunt around the Community followed by a pancake race then a pancake tea break. Thank you all for the great afternoon! Check out the pictures!
