Camphill Community Clanabogan is a registered charity and is engaged in regular projects to raise funds in order to support the wellbeing of the Community.
A very important part of this work used to be carried out by the Friends of Clanabogan. Amongst many of their activities, they used to arrange regular fund raising events for us. They also were fully involved in the organising and running of our Open Day and other bigger events at our Community. After being active for decades, many of our Friends, who had become elderly, retired and at their final AGM the Friends Committee officially closed their books.
However, they continue as social friends and supporters. They still help out on our Open Days and other bigger events at our Community. Residents and co-workers are welcomed in their houses, e.g. for a Christmas get together. They also have offered practicing English language conversations to the new co-workers and information evenings about N. Ireland.
Now we are in search of new people to help us raise much-needed funds for projects within the Community. We have an active PR/FR group and donations have been coming, from local and further away sources, pub quizzes held in aid of Clanabogan and bag packing days at ASDA (the ASDA Community Champion now is a weekly volunteer in the Bakery!), to name a few.
Please consider supporting our community and refer to the gift aid option on the website.
